Needing a lawyer for a family case has been one of the most stressful and tormenting events of my life, and I think that I could speak for my wife as well. First off, Tina was very straight forward in letting us know that our case would be hard to win. Yet, it was important that she believed in us and took our case a lot deeper than the surface portrayed, maintaining memory of intricate details within our case over the year that it took. Secondly, Tina was more accessible in communicating with than we had expected. She was very good at returning phone calls and email. We were very needy, but we were willing to pay for the constant updates to feel comforted and to aid our preparation. This made a huge difference as we were more prepared than the other party. Tina gave us a lot of assignments to work out ourselves. I'm not sure if this is typical, but it allowed us to be involved, realize important factors that won our case, and allowed great preparation for testimonies by enabling our conceptualization of the case. There was one instance that my wife and I were not happy with Tina. In hindsight, I am very glad that we kept faith in her, as I see now that we were very emotional in this process and I would like to forewarn all future clients of hers that things go best when you have faith in your team. Lastly, Tina was no amateur in the courtroom. Tina was aware of how the trial was going and revamped our stategy on the spot to ensure that we maintained an advantage in the courtroom. This was the perfect call and we won our case. Good decisions are imperative in these situations. I would choose Tina Torres again.
