Ms. Matheson’s practice focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on fiduciary and trust disputes. Ms. Matheson has handled matters in state and federal courts across the country. Prior to joining Hornberger Fuller & Garza, Inc., Ms. Matheson was a litigation attorney with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where her practice focused on complex commercial litigation and intellectual property disputes. Ms. Matheson also has experience in many areas of public interest law, including human rights and immigration.
Ms. Matheson received her B.A. in International Studies from Baylor University in 2006. In 2010, she received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
Ms. Matheson is a member and serves on the Board of Directors for the San Antonio Young Lawyer’s Association. She is also a member of the Texas State Bar and the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association. She is licensed to practice in all Texas and federal courts.
