Builders

Bryan Woods is an exceptional lawyer. He took on a very large builder of new homes whose motto was "We don't buy back homes, we sell homes". Bryan represented my husband and I and at least eight or nine of our neighbors. Our new home and the other homes in this new development had major foundation... problems and Bryan secured "buy backs" for us and for our neighbors, which was an amazing feat. He is methodical and smart and experienced, and he knows how to build and win cases by using experts to evaluate the problems. He is also accessible and available for questions. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Outstanding Attorney!!

Very Professional! We had issues with out builder and went to see Bryan. From the first meeting, Bryan was able to set us at ease and explain the elements of the process with us. He walked us through everything, taking time to explain how the law applies, as well as a thorough evaluation of our ca...se. With many years of experience representing clients who had similar complaints against builders, Bryan was able to give us a no-nonsense and objective view of the case. His guidance, knowledge, expertise, and calmness helped to keep us focused on what was important. He is the consummate professional and really cares about his clients. He never failed to communicate with us including returning phone calls, emails, texts, etc. In a word, he was there for us from day 1. I would highly recommend Bryan to anyone who needs a competent, intelligent, and honest attorney for issues of construction law and builders.

Great Job

Bryan represented my wife and me in a dispute involving a lender who sold us a repossessed house. Issue was concealment of foundation problems. Bryan was aggressive and thorough and got us great results.

Not trustworthy or ethical

Bryan handled my real estate case and while I won't complain about the actual job he did... we won, but what I did have a problem with is how he paid himself. We got a judgment from two parties with the Texas Real Estate Board paying some of the money. Bryan was to be paid one flat fee and then a p...ercentage. I paid the flat retainer fee before he started. When he learned that it would be hard to collect from the people I sued, Bryan took his percentage of the total judgment out of the small portion that the Texas Real Estate Commission paid. So... even though I collected only a portion of actual amount due me, Bryan took most of it. He never once then did ANYTHING to try to collect the rest of the money for me. I had to get another attorney (all attorneys I have talked to said he should have taken the percentage of amount collected... NOT of the total judgment) to try to negotiate with him. He then said he considered that I had a new attorney and wouldn't even return my phone calls. Stay clear... there are plenty of lawyers to choose from!
