The worst of the worst...Mr. Brian Hamner

My story is pretty similar. I recently saw this pathetic excuse for an attorney's name and was reminded of my horrible experience with him, which took place in 2007-2008. I paid him $5000 to do a slam dunk modified child custody case against my mentally unstable ex. To make a very long story short.....Mr. Hamner took my money in 2 payments of $2500 (he wouldn't start working until I paid in full)..and then persisted in never returning a phone call, or email or seeing me when I finally resorted to stopping by unexpectedly in the hopes of catching him, he was unsurprisingly never there. At the time $5000 was very difficult for me to come up with. After months of trying to get him to respond to me, I finally filed a complaint with the state board. After which is got back with me and wanted to remedy the situation...we proceeded to court FINALLY...during court my ex lied to the judge (not a good idea)..the judge granted me temporary full custody until my ex got a mental health evaluation and presented it back to the court. All Mr. Hamner had to do was write something up for the judge to sign..WHICH HE NEVER DID. Despite again my repeated call, emails, attempts to reach him at his office...to this day that document was never completed or signed by the judge. He never gave me an accounting of his hours, he never gave me anything more then a hand written receipt from one of those cheap receipt books you find at Office Depot. I would give him a negative 5 stars if possible. This man should be ashamed to walk the streets. I see from the entries here that it is business as usual in the Brian Hamner world.
