Grateful for Extraordinary Representation from Roger Perez

My experience with Attorney Roger Perez has been nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, he demonstrated a deep understanding of the law, a strategic mindset, and a level of skill that clearly comes from years of experience. What sets Mr. Perez apart is not only his expertise, but his ...ability to navigate complex legal situations with confidence and precision. In my case, the odds — legally — were not in my favor. Yet through skillful negotiation and an understanding of the system that only a truly gifted attorney possesses, Mr. Perez was able to accomplish an outcome that most attorneys would not have attempted. His work on my behalf was far beyond routine representation; it was thoughtful, calculated, and executed with a professionalism that inspired trust throughout the entire process. I also want to recognize his legal assistants, Yesenia Reyes, and Jennifer Garcia, whose compassion and support made an enormous difference. Yesenia was consistently responsive, patient, and ready to help at every stage. When the uncertainty of the legal process felt overwhelming, Yesenia’s understanding and prompt communication provided reassurance and clarity. Both are a true asset to the firm. Together, Roger Perez, Yesenia Reyes and Jennifer Garcia form a legal team that not only delivers results, but treats their clients with compassion, respect, humanity, and genuine care. I am deeply grateful for their work and highly recommend them to anyone in need of strong, effective, and compassionate legal representation.

Great Lawyer!

Mr.Perez did an amazing job with my father's case. From the very beginning he reassured us that everything would be okay. He kept us updated and aware of everything that was going on. And in the end he got my father's case dismissed. We would definitely recommend Mr.Perez to any and everyone.

CAUTION!!!LOOK OUT!!!BEWARE!!!

Roger is undoubtedly the worst attorney I've ever known. I've known them professionally, as clients, and friends. I hired Roger to handle my case in February, 2012. I called him several times during the first few months and he didn't respond. I eventually concluded he didn't want to speak or have ... time so I started sending him FAX's with confirmations so I knew he'd received them. During our meetings I'd ask him for answers to questions in my FAX's. He seldom had an answer and skirted the questions. As my employee he had a responsibility to respond. He didn't! He always requested I plea. I told him if a plea were desired I could have done that on my own and wouldn't need him. Two instances immediately come to mind concerning this man. I FAX'ed him mentioning I had to hear from him by the end of the day concerning one matter he refused to answer.. At 9:20 pm he called using a private number. I told him I was at the store and would call back. He declined, said it was late, and NEVER answered my question. He fulfilled my request, he called. The other instance was when we were scheduled for court. We were in the Court Chambers room and he continued to pressure me to take a plea stating the jury was outside waiting to convict me. I believe a jury has to be chosen. He had documents ready for me to sign. I declined and he threw the pen on the table. IT BOUNCED! He was visibly upset. I never gave him any indication I'd plea. His job was to take this matter to Jury and not take the money and run. He was unprepared. In fact, a fellow attorney who looked at the paperwork said Roger was nothing more than a politician. That was prior to my telling him he had been. Roger insulted one of my witnesses stating he was useless. In fact, that person is a 20 year retired military veteran, as am I. He also refused to contact one individual who wrote an Affidavit stating what occurred and elusive in talking to the DNA Lab people. Roger's plea requests remind me of my telling a mover I'm moving to one house and he moves my property to another stating it's best for me. A plea gets Roger off the hook; he's paid and out of here. It would make this multi-degreed senior citizen guilty. In a plea deal one forfeits their rights for appeal. Another matter is the undue strain my 70 plus year old wife has endured. She had a stroke. When informed Roger further stressed; TAKE THE PLEA! Additionally, I was hospitalized. I believe he picks and chooses who he'll defend. The BEWARE individual above mirrors my thoughts on this man. In order to not receive Rogerly plea justice I had to FIRE HIM!. The reason he wasn't let go long before was because I stupidly paid him. I thought he was a professional. I was hoping he'd come around but he displayed his true professionalism when he threw that pen on the table. He wasn't prepared and had no intentions of being so. If I conducted my business as he does his, I'd be out of business! Fortunately, I have documentation to substantiate everything written here. I hope his unprofessionalism hasn't spoiled my chances of winning this matter by souring my witness(s) into not testifying. Nobody appreciates being insulted and they may question my judgment by hiring a deal maker. By the way, Roger's incompetence will be visited elsewhere.

Replied last May 06, 2014

I have been practicing law for over 25 years. At no point have I ever been disrespectful to any client or a witness in any matter. I have a very high rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. In addition, I was selected as one of San Antonio Best Lawyers for 2013 in the SA Scene Magazine. It is unfortunate that some clients are not realistic to the facts and circumstance in their case. When somebody blows over 4 times the legal limit and causes a five car serious collision, it is appropriate that they should be realistic to what punishment a jury may render in a case. I am sorry you feel this way and wish you the best of luck in your upcoming trial.
