what a sucky lawyer

He has had my case over a year has not done anything what I have asked him what I wanted .. I call and nobody ever calls back . I get an appointment with him and within the hour or even within minutes of our appointment he has to rescheduled because he is in "court " I guess he is always in court and... never has time to call back or his staff ..

Justice is as good as the fight...EXACTLY! he doesn't fight, doesn't even show up

Unbelievable. Doesn't show up to court, he will call in if you're lucky. I had a CPS case, he was definitely NOT an asset..when he did come to court, he told me just to agree to everything to make sure we weren't in court too long..left me feeling like he was late for his golf game or something. Also..., he acted irritated whenever I asked him questions as if he didn't have the time to answer. DO NOT spend your money on this lawyer. You have been warned.

Do NOT Hire Ross Rodriguez

He took my 85 year-old mother for over $15,000 for what should have been routine legal work. He missed court dates, failed to properly prepare court documents and refused to respond to complaints about his work. I am not alone in this assessment of this man.

Please dont hire this attorney

I wouldnt suggest hiring this attorney to my worse enemy. On labor day a cps investigation was opened and my children were removed from my home for 24 hours. I went to my mother in laws after 24 hours and picked up my children. I informed cps I sent my kids to California but I still wanted to work th...e service agreement to show I could provide a good home enviorment. I ended up getting into more trouble than I started with initially. I went to this attorney in hopes of getting my children back hopeful because I would be paying him he would do something my public defender wouldnt. Well turns out I was better off with my public defender. On the day I retained this attorney I informed Carolyn I had no desire to retain him due to reviews. She assured me it was a old employee who was bitter and the issue was being handled. Based on this against my families advice I still retained Mr. Rodriguez. I informed Andi Matt I had a public defender explained my side of the story and was assured she would do everything in her power to get my kids home asap. Two weeks later after informed Andi Matt was busy with foreclosures but was still working very hard on getting my kids home I found out Mr. Rodriguez was not even my attorney on file and cps wouldnt even talk to his office due to this. I felt betrayed and hurt especially being that I had my 14 day hearing only three days from the day I found this out. I then was told they couldnt represent me and the reason was due to a paper which I read that stated they tried sending a paper to cps stating they were representing me and cps wrote back stating they suggest they file a motion with family court. I then requested a refund and was informed by Ruben they feel as if $1275.00 worth of work was completed in the last day and there would be no refund due to the initial paper work I signed. I then made a BBB complaint and was provided with a refund in the amount of $500.00 which of course I took however I know I was ripped off and I urge you to spend your money with someone else. And anyone who has a issue with this attorney please download the paper work with the Texas State Bar Association and let them know about your issue. I think the more complaints this attorney gets the better. We are students and put this money together by pawning things in our home, selling even our wedding rings in hopes that this attorney would help us get our kids back and we just got ripped off. By the way I never spoke to this man or even saw his face and three days before my court date I was informed due to Andi Matt not giving proper and promt information he wasnt even going to make it to my hearing but he would send a associate.
