She doesn't get rattled, maintains composure and doesn't back down. She is also resilient and well respected. Just ask around. In my case, we were able to get almost everything we were asking for. We increased time with my daughter while also decreasing child support. All without having to go through a nasty trial. With Denise at my side, we were able to negotiate a situation that worked out for everyone involved. This being said, if you are new to litigation be patient. Things will not happen overnight. It took approx. a year and a half but we are satisfied with the outcome. In comparison, I had previously hired a different "high rated" attorney a couple of years prior and didn't get too much resolved, not to mention paying way more than I did with Denise. That lawyer was more consistent in sending me invoices to pay her than sending me correspondence about my case. It would take over a week or two to get responses from that attorney. This was mentioned, to show contrast in what I experienced with Denise. I actually had to ask Denise for an invoice for me to pay her. That should speak abundantly to anyone reading this. It tells me she is more concerned with your case than seeing you as a dollar sign. Her turn around with phone calls to her office has been usually within 24-48 hrs.
