I wish that I would have known about Mrs Rode 2 lawyers ago. When I first met with her in 2012 I was optimistic as I was in the Air Force and stationed in North Carolina with a 9 year old daughter living in Texas with her "mom". It was rough exercising visitation with a non complaint custodial parent... who refused to support a relationship with her father. I was paying child support since birth. When we moved to San Antonio in 2014, that all changed. Mrs Rode got things rolling before we even settled in. We realized her health and education were not being taken care of. We were given extended visitation and in less than a year was awarded 50% custody with offset CS. After working that arrangement for 18 months and numerous visits to court we were granted full custody. They were a lot of struggles and surprises along the way but due to Mrs Rode calm court demeanor, knowledge of family law and anticipated moves of the opposing council we stayed 3 steps ahead. Agatha always seemed like everything was right where they should be. Her confidence was a huge benefit to have on my side of the bench.
