Justin Morley

I am board certified in family law.  I primarily practice family law, and have experience in divorce, enforcement (including contempt and jail), modification, child custody (fathers, grandparents, and mothers), visitation (supervised, standard, and fifty-fifty), rights and duties, child support (increases and reductions), complex property divisions, asset tracing (keeping separate property separate), spousal maintenance (alimony), paternity issues, pre-nuptial agreements, post-marital agreements, terminations, adoptions, protective orders (prosecuting and defending) and uncontested matters.  

I also practice probate and guardianship law, with experience in probate litigation, estate planning, will preparation, temporary guardianship, and permanent guardianship.

I do my best to resolve cases without the necessity of trial when possible, usually through mediation and informal settlement conferences.  However, I aggressively litigate cases when trial is necessary.  

I am a certified family law mediator.

I offer consultations and meetings in the New Braunfels office and San Antonio office.

I obtained my undergraduate degree from Texas State University-San Marcos,  and my law degree from St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio.  In law school, I was on the Dean’s List and was a member of the International Legal Honor Society, Phi Delta Phi.  I was also an Associate Editor of the St. Mary’s Law Journal.

As a family law attorney, I have been recognized by Scene in SA magazine in 2009 and 2011 as a Rising Star Attorney, and a Best Lawyer in Family law in 2015.  I am a member of the State Bar of Texas (Family Law Section), Texas Academy of Family Law Specialiests, Texas Family Law Foundation, and Comal County Bar Association.  I am a member of the State Bar College, which is an honorary society of lawyers who are among the best trained in Texas.  Further, I write and speak frequently on family law topics.
