DO NOT HIRE this attorney. She does not return calls nor emails. It's like pulling teeth to get a response from her. My cousin and I have been trying to get our aunt's Will probated and we have run into so many problems with Ms Dye. She has only filed 2 documents with the Court and they have not been... signed by the Judge. She does not follow through to complete a case. She has not given us a statement of money received from us nor any documentation of how our money is being spend. We have been with her for almost 2 years and she has not accomplished a thing. If you are considering Sheri Bryce Dye as a family law attorney—STOP—don’t walk—but run away as fast as you can! I first hired her on March 12, 2024, to reconnect with my grandchild (who was taken away), but little to nothing has been done. There is very little communication, seemingly nothing has be...en filed, and I get no responses to numerous emails or phone calls. She sets appointments and then cancels to reschedule them, or has something to suddenly come up out of town. Seeing that my case has gone nowhere, I have since emailed five requests for termination of this case; I also have requested an itemized list of expenses that have also gone unanswered. In addition, I have received no response to a certified letter dated April 28, 2024. It appears Ms. Dye believes that by continually ignoring me, I will simply go away. The only thing Ms. Dye has done was to cash my check (March 13, 2024), the day after I paid the $5100.00 retainer fee. However, I am not through—I’ll do anything necessary to get the remainder of my money back. Ms. Dye has, I feel, been insensitive to my emotions – that of a grief-stricken grandmother whose only desire was to re-establish connections with her 8-year-old grandson. Seeing desperation as a prime display of vulnerability, it is possible Ms. Dye envisioned me as a paycheck, creating false hopes that inevitably ended in utter devastation and hopelessness. Wasting two months of my life, involving a very time-sensitive situation, I feel that my overall health and well-being have been greatly impacted. Situations like this may help explain her rating with the Better Business Bureau of a D +.

Sheri and I just finished a 2 and half year divorce custody battle. She was a straight bulldog.
