William McNaught

Bill McNaught is a collaborative lawyer, legal counselor, trial attorney, mediator, nonprofit counselor & consultant, and creatively minded problem solver who offers both alternative, traditional, and quasi-traditional approaches to a wide variety of concerns and conflicts to clients in the San Antonio, Texas area. His philosophy, services, and approach are for those who do not want the hostile, embittering, wasteful, and unfulfilling litigation process that characterizes the current legal profession. 
 

Bill has worked as a prosecutor in criminal law, legal counselor for the US Treasury, and as an attorney in private practice for over 30 years. He has worked in a large metropolitan high-rated law firms in Houston and San Antonio and maintained a successful private practice of law for over 15 years in a client-centered practice.

He has practiced law and conflict resolution in Bexar, Kendall, and surrounding counties, has acted as consultant to several nonprofits, designed and implemented fundraising activities, volunteered his services for community initiatives, and acted as Executive Director of a nonprofit family services organization.

Mr. McNaught has been a trial lawyer for nearly three decades and fully understands the strategies and tactics of the litigation system. He is a staunch defender of rights and a strong advocate in court proceedings.

Bill offers collaborative law, mediation, and traditional litigation services. He also offers a strategic planning and capacity building services for nonprofits.


He offers his time and energy at competitive rates and works hard to provide quality services. He steers people in a positive direction, makes sense out of the chaos of the legal & regulatory systems and emotional upheavals associated with lawsuits, and adopts a realistic, client-based, and simple approach to problem solving.

Bill is also a student of Big History, a father of 4 adult children and Grandfather to 3 little guys.
