I hired Mr. Falco to represent me in my divorce proceedings. He is a terrible communicator. Literally, would not answer any of my emails or any of my calls. He also failed to report for a motion to compel hearing and claimed he testified by phone. He absolutely misrepresented me at this hearing and gave the Court WRONG information which I was penalized me for. During my final hearing, he sat there like a bump on a log with his eyes closed. I might add that I had to reconstruct my file for his review and I spent three days at his office organizing it. He never used anything in the file during court!!!!! He DID NOT PRESENT ANY EVIDENCE to counter my ex’s attorney’s claims even though there was plenty of exhibits that I had prepared! Mr. Falco also did not utilize my expert witness that I had paid to testify on my behalf and my children’s behalf. He came to court TOTALLY UNPREPARED and it showed!!!
Also, his receptionist is rude! Example: One day, I was attempting to contact his office and his receptionist literally refused to pick up my telephone call. I continued calling every 2 to 3 minutes, however, the call would go straight to voicemail. I then borrowed a friend’s cell phone that happened to be visiting my home, and used his cell to call Mr. Falco and miraculously, the receptionist picked the phone up on the very first ring. I had two Witnesses to this event and they were absolutely dumbfounded that the receptionist refused to pick up my telephone call. I wished I had never hired this incompetent attorney. He did NOTHING to protect my children and just took my money. RUN AWAY from this attorney or you will be sad and wished you had!
I have been Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1995. Family law Makes up the majority of my law practice. I am very familiar with the Courts in Grimes County, as well as most of the Courts in Waller, Walker, Washington, Madison, and Brazos Counties. I regularly work with some of the finest attorneys practicing in these courts, and have established an excellent working relationship with them and with the Courts in order to best serve my clients. I believe that a mutually agreed settlement is the best outcome in most family law cases, and I make it a point to support and encourage an informed and earnest negotiation process. However, settlement is not always possible. In those cases where a trial is necessary, I have the experience, resources, and abilities to be a very effective advocate for my clients. While no attorney can guarantee a particular result in the vast majority of cases, I truly believe I give my clients their best chance for a successful outcome at trial.
I also have significant experience in Probate and Guardianship cases, including litigation of Will contests and other issues. I have met the State mandated requirements to handle guardianship cases and to serve as an attorney ad liter in such cases. I also prepare Wills, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, and other essential estate planning documents.
In the area of personal injury, I represent injured motorists in accident cases involving bodily injury. For very large cases requiring significant investment of developement costs, I associate additional counsel with the resources necessary to fully assist clients in their claims. In such cases, I work hand in hand with excellent associated counsel at no additional expense to clients.
In all of my areas of practice, I am mindful that our legal system can be intimidating, if not frightening, to many of the people most in need of legal services. It can also be very expensive. As a result, I spend a significant amount of time making sure clients understand the risk/benefit analysis in their case so that they can make informed decisions on exactly what course of action best serves them.
Very happy with this attorney. Would recommend highly to anyone! He is very personable, along with knowing how to get the job done.

Family Attorney | Dec 01
Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
"I highly endorse Joe Falco III. Joe reached out to me in a post-divorce matter, to attempt to resolve an issue with our respective clients outside of court. Joe's great advocacy and experience were immediately apparent. Joe presented the issue in an open, solution-oriented manner, and was able to direct and consider effective solutions. Joe's unique qualifications as a Board Certified family attorney, alone, puts him in the upper echelon of practitioners in the state. Only 7,300 of Texas's 100,000 attorneys have attained board level certification in one of 23 various specialties. It quickly became apparent that in addition to his knowledge of the law, Joe's skill, proficiency, and ethics propel him to the highest pinnacle in his field. Rarely does one attorney both impress and inspire another with his/her skill and integrity. Joe Falco III is a true leader in professionalism and excellence."
