Four years after graduating from Smith Cotton High School (Sedalia, Mo.), I became a Baylor University BA graduate majoring in Political Science. I played baseball for Baylor and Waco Braves (Semi Pro). Next, after finishing the first year of law school, I was drafted into the US Army and I worked in Security & Intelligence (442nd Signal Battalion - 29th Signal Group - Southeast Asia / Northern Thailand) during the Vietnam era. After my military service, I re-started the second year of law school and two years later I became a University of Memphis - Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law - JD graduate. After graduation from law school, I taught Business Law as a full time Assistant Professor at Central Missouri State University. (Later in my career, I also taught Business Law courses at State Fair Community College and Austin Community College as an adjunct instructor in addition to my then-current jobs). Following that, I practiced law in Sedalia, Missouri for 5 years. Next, I became a University of Missouri-KC Law School LLM graduate. The LLM degree is the terminal degree in law. Later, for more than 30 years, I worked as either a consultant / contractor or an employee in Contracts Management, Sourcing / Procurement & Category Management, Legal Services Category Management or Legal Services at Midwest Research Institute (MRI), Tracor Inc., Tracor Aerospace Inc., Texas Instruments, Radian Corporation, Radian International LLC, Radian SEA Limited (Thailand), Radian Engineering Inc., Pervasive Software Inc., Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation (MCC), URS Corporation (TCM Group), CH2M Hill, University of Texas at Austin, Dell, LCRA, Accenture Contract Management/Procurement, YRCI, BC Forward, USAA, Lumen Legal, Motek, ISI, and WellAware Holdings, Inc.

(2) " Law Office of John E. Miller" (a Texas legal services law firm in Bryan/College Station, Texas:  See -  ).

WellAware review of John Miller
Johnny Miller is one of the most professional, efficient, and prepared attorneys I've dealt with in my career. His vast knowledge and access to existing contracts helps to streamline business processes which accelerates commercial opportunities and minimizes typical legal delays.

Excellent Business and IP Attorney
I have been a client and partner with John Miller for more than 20 years. During our time at Radian International, he handled numerous technical contracts for my division as well as IP issues and international business strategy. He is an ethical and professional attorney whom I recommend without hesitation.
