Matthew Christopher Matheny

Mr. Matheny has handled and is currently handling the types of cases listed below in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arizona, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Missouri, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Ohio, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia.

Mr. Matheny has been named to the Texas Rising Star list as one of the top up-and-coming attorneys in Texas for 2012. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state receive this honor. The selection for this respected list is made by the research team at Super Lawyers.

Mr. Matheny has served as the coach for the Kelly High School Mock Trial Team. He has served as the President of the Beaumont Area Ducks Unlimited Committee and served as a volunteer judge for the Evelyn Lord Teen Court Program. On weekends in the fall, Mr. Matheny has served as a guide in the Texas Hill Country for Operation Orphan, a nonprofit organization that provides outdoor activities to orphaned and abused children. Mr. Matheny is an active supporter of Southeast Texas civic events and Lamar University.
