Good case ignored as if they mislead the public
I found on Findlaw.com seeking consumer lawyers (code for; plaintiffs). Sent intro of my DTPA claim w no urgency. He emailed a terse response w names of Defense firms [as if to say, we are too and none of us will help you].
Good morning, Mr. Meister. You requested an attorney to assist with a DTPA claim in Dallas. Within 6 minutes of your email, I politely tried to give you the names of two firms that have more of a state-wide practice than our firm and that also handle DTPA claims--as evidenced by the commercial litigation sections on their websites. My initial response was brief because I sent it from my phone while at a stoplight. You responded almost 5 hours later, after our office closed, with a disgruntled email that included the question, "Are you a lawyer?" Within 12 minutes of receiving your email, and in another effort to help you, I sent a longer email explaining why I referred you to another firm. Per my email, the attorney at our firm that would handle such a claim was out of the office that day, but I explained that I did know that he would have referred you to another firm as he typically does not take DTPA cases based in Dallas--we are located in Beaumont, Texas. I finished my second email with the following: "I was simply trying to be helpful to you in order for you to seek immediate assistance. You are welcome to call our office at 409-838-2644 and ask to speak with attorney, Bruce Partain. He can call you back when he returns to the office." You responded about an hour and a half later with another disgruntled email and told me to forward your emails to the managing partner of my firm--which is me. I responded as follows: "Mr. Meister, I am the managing partner of this firm. I’m sorry you’ve not found my responses to be helpful. Per my earlier email, you’re welcome to call our office and ask for Bruce Partain. Have a good evening." Even now, despite your incomplete account of our correspondence, I'm taking the time out of my busy day to try and help you. I still suggest you contact the firms I gave you as they may be helpful to you or might at least point you in the right direction; though, I no longer suggest you call our firm as you would not be a good fit to be one of our clients. I'm sorry you've found yourself in a stressful situation with regard to your case. I wish you the best of luck.
"Zach served as guardian ad litem in a guardianship case I handled. He performed his job well and was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended."
"I endorse Zach Celeste as an attorney. He is compassionate and understanding which helps him fully serve his clients in all matters."
