Glen Michael Crocker

I hired Mr. Crocker based on his reputation as a capable and effective attorney. That was a mistake on my part as his performance was unsatisfactory. After writing a sizeable check for retainer, it was virtually impossible to get him to return my calls or act to make progress on the case. In a six m...onth period, seven lawyer-client meetings were scheduled to review the case. When all seven meetings were cancelled, I finally went to sit in his office and demanded to be seen to get a status and try to address several time critical issues. The case drug out costing me significant additional expenses. Mediation failed and I was forced into court. He provided acceptable reputation for the initial case filing, temporary orders, and mediation session, but it seemed to me he abandoned the case after the initial proceedings. Mr. Crocker cancelled the morning of the first court date. Trial date was rescheduled for one month later and he again cancelled the morning 2nd trial date. I demanded he reschedule trial to get back on the court docket for a 3rd trial date and he was un responsive. I pursued the only option I felt I had to get the case moving towards resolution. I forfeited the balance of my retainer, fired Mr. Crocker, and hired another attorney to take up the case who brought it to successful conclusion. I did not receive the legal services we discussed and agreed would be provided. I assume he had other more important cases or simply ignored my case as the opposing attorney was VERY difficult to deal. In the end, I requested he withdraw as my representation and I had to start over with another lawyer to represent me.
