Debra Babineaux Wester

Debra took over mid case for me during a very contested divorce/ custody case. She was the first lawyer out of half a dozen I'd spoken with that mentioned doing what's in the best interest of my kids, not merely winning a court case. I did get custody of my children though, but it was never about the money for her but rather what's best for them. I never believed this case could be settled in mediation, however Debra insisted on trying to avoid the high costs of a final hearing by trying to get my ex to settle. Using her years of experience, expertise, and literal award winning mediation experience, Debra was able to close the deal and my ex settled in mediation. As a father, it's difficult to get custody of your children. Debra was instrumental in helping me. She works in the best interest of the children first and foremost which is very important to me. They say nobody wins in a divorce, but Debra ensured that my children won and that's the most important thing to me! I am so happy to have my children safe and secure at home with me!
