Practice area

I am a life-long resident of southeast Texas, a graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School and Lamar University - Beaumont. I am married to Tara Wolfe McEachern and we have five children.

After a half-decade in private practice in southeast Texas, I was honored to serve the next four and one-half years as an Assistant Attorney General for the Texas Child Support Division in their Woodville and Nederland offices.

I returned to private practice in December of 2013, to focus primarily in the legal areas of family, divorces, child custody and child support serving Jefferson County, Texas and surrounding counties.

In August of 2022, I accepted an invitation to join the well-established firm, Wells, Peyton, Partain, Baldo & Lighty, L.L.P. in Beaumont.

My mission is for clients to trust me with their legal issues by offering them competent legal advice, just like I would seek if I were in their shoes seeking guidance with a legal issue. I want to change the way people think about attorneys. I'm not just interested in obtaining clients for the present, I seek to earn clients' trust and respect so they return to me in the future for all their future legal issues. I don't want my clients to have any regrets or reservations concerning their case. I will counsel my clients on their available options and possible outcomes so that clients can make an informed decision on how to proceed on their cases. Sometimes the client's decision on a case will not be the most profitable to me, but being a true professional involves the ability to put the client's interest above my own.

I hired Brian Mceachern to represent me with my case to switch to the custodial parent for my daughter. He did a great job and I highly recommend his law firm. Very reasonable price as well.

Bryan McEachern/ A super attorney
My attorney helped me get through a very devastating divorce. He represented me well and my children and I got everything we requested. He was also very understanding and respectful.

Started My Own Business
Bryan was a great help last year when I started my own business. I had many questions about what business model was best for me - and Bryan answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly. He also provided all the required documentation and took care of all necessary legal filings. He made everything easy! Thanks, Bryan!

I chose Mr. McEachern as my attorney for my divorce. During the initial meeting with Mr. McEachern, he asked me several personal and important questions that were very introspective. I appreciated that he took the time to really talk to me about my decision. The divorce was uncontested and amicable. He helped me make decisions regarding personal properties so that both of us would be protected should something happen to the other party. He was fair and unbiased, which was greatly appreciated by both of us. Our divorce was finalized with no delays.

Great job on my custody case....
I must admit, I felt a little unsure that I could actually win custody of my kids before coming to Bryan's office. After a single consultation, I felt that he could give me a good shot at it. He was really knowledgable in the child support field and even more knowledgable on how the court system works. His price was below the average rate of the magnitude of case he took on for me. He was open and honest with me every step of the way. I now have custody of my three beautiful children and I owe it in part to Bryan. He listened, he cared, and he produced. One of the few in his field with all of those qualities. I highly recommend him.

Adoption and Termination of Rights
I hired Bryan McEachern to help me with the termination of my daughter's biological mother's rights. Bryan is also representing me on the adoption process for my wife to adopt my daughter. Bryan has been very professional with us and everything with the termination of rights is complete now! The adoption is still in process but we have full faith in him to make this happen for our family! Bryan has been a true blessing to our family and offers his services at a very reasonable price!! I would recommend Bryan to anyone looking for a family lawyer!

Bryan did an outstanding job for me accomplishing what half a dozen other attorneys before him could not. He goes out of his way all the time to go above and beyond what anybody else would. I highly recommend him.

Amazing experience!
I consulted and immediately hired Bryan to help me through my divorce. Bryan, unlike most attorneys, actually put my needs and wants first. He is a down to man and very considerate. A divorce is a difficult find but he made the process very painless. I highly recommend him for any of your legal needs!!

Child Support Modification
Bryan was absolutely excellent! Bryan is an honest and straightforward attorney. Bryan and Vicki kept me informed throughout my case and they fought hard for the truth to be known. Bryan has experience and a wealth of knowledge regarding my case and I highly recommend him.

Deed Transfer with Vendors lien
Bryan did an excellent job putting together and filing my owner financed real estate deal. His service was quick and accurate. I would most definitely use him again in the future!

Bryan went above and beyond and took the burden off of my shoulders. I was very timid about a courtroom environment but he made it a lot more peaceful. On a side note, he seems like an all around good guy and is a real asset when dealing with family, real estate, or probate issues. My trip lasted all of 24 hr to southeast Texas and with Bryan's help, I was able to accomplish everything I set out to do. Thanks, Bryan

Very unprofessional. RED FLAG!!!!---take my advice. I could write a whole page as to why but lets just say--he did not spend a minute on my case and did not fight for me! --I should of known when his RUDE secretary did not care--and when I had to call daily and email and beg for me to come drop stuff off---no responses..i should of gone with my GUT! HE embarrassed me in court and when we were done he said, well we tried. NO HE DIDNT! and this had to do with winning my 2 children!! ALSO-he sent me someone elses info through email that was not even my CASE! he could get in trouble for that!

Response from Bryan McEachern June 29, 2018
I am shocked by this review. While I do not necessarily agree with the Court's adverse ruling against my client in this case, said ruling was not due to my lack of preparation, my professionalism, nor my care or concern for my client. I do care what happens in ALL of my client's cases. In fact, I am still disappointed with the Judge's ruling in this case, just as I am disappointed in reading this client review, which I feel is unjustified and unwarranted. Attorneys cannot change the facts of their cases, cannot "undo" prior actions of their clients, and cannot select which judge hears the case. It is simply too easy to blame the results on the attorney, but my professionalism, diligence, and caring interest is not to blame for the results of this case.

I was referred to Bryan by a friend so I was wishful thinking he would really take this case and do an awesome job but once in the court room he didn't explain my side of anything and left me to really defend myself. He told me over and over how he was friends with the other parties lawyer and it really showed through his work. He wasn't standing up for me and my rights as much as he was giving in to the other parties request. I would use caution with using Bryan if you want to win a case that should be an open and shut case based on black and white facts because he doesn't even submit the real evidence in trial. I felt I couldn't trust him and once I voiced that he withdrew his council. I spent a lot of money for nothing. Highly displeased!
