Don’t make the same mistake as I did
I hired an attorney that was recommended on here. If you’re needing an attorney I highly recommend going with anyone else other than Gerald Yoakum. Missed original court date and than came into next hearing so Ill prepared opposing council made him look like a complete disaster.

The straight shooter
Gerald yokum has been mine and an ex boyfriend of mine lawyer a few times and we won everytime he never gave me false hope when it came to my kids custody battle but he did however make me feel better kept me with a calm cool head the whole time....and beat Walmart who yes!!!! Not many people beat......

Kept my son in Texas !!!
My ex was trying to get the geographical limitation to be lifted so that he could move with my son out of state. Mr Yoakum fought very hard and was extremely diligent. And it definitely paid off! He was always very professional and realistic and I will be returning should the need arise. Words cannot...

Replied last November 10, 2015Sometimes people need lawyers, other times they don't. They need a guiding hand. I have never taken money from a potential client that was not necessary. I require a personal meeting for two reasons. One, I want to discuss all the legal issues in a private and professional manner. Second, if after our meeting you, the potential client, do not feel I will fight for you like you were my very own brother/sister then find an attorney that you feel will. I will prove to you that I will Zealously defend your rights and wishes in that courtroom.

WON ME CUSTODY!!!!!!!
I hired Mr. Yoakum for a custody case against my parents. He won me custody of my children. Mr. Yoakum was very informative of everything that was going on. Any time I would call Mr. Yoakum he would answer his phone. EVEN AFTER HOURS!!!!! How many attorneys can you say do that????? I highly recommend...
