I have been named one of the "Best Lawyers in America" for over 20 years.  I have been designated an AV Preeminent Rated by Martindale Hubbell for over thirty years.  I am Board Certified, Immigration and Nationality Law (Texas Board of Legal Specialization) for over thirty years.

In the past , for nearly fifty years, I have published numerous many articles, taught so many classes, mentored so many young lawyers, in the areas of immigration and migration law, ethics and federal court practice.

In past years I served as a Federal Immigration Judge and as an Adjunct Professor in the areas of immigration law. I hold licenses to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court (1965), Firth Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals (1985), U.S. Tax Court (1960), Supreme Court of Texas (1959), Federal District Court, Eastern District, Texas (1961), Federal District Court, Southern District, Texas (1976), Federal District Court, Arkansas (1979), State of Arkansas (1979)(Senior Status)
