I thought Bruce would do well because he’s mean and scarier than my ex, whom had been emotionally abusive to my son and i. Bruce just ended up being emotionally abusive to me rather than my ex. As a single mom i sold my car to pay for him, around $12,000. My memories of Bruce are terrible and he ab...solutely didn’t get the result i was hoping for. I don’t have experience as a lawyer so i don’t know what i realistically should have expected but i don’t recommend him. He was verbally abusive when i was still having ptsd from my ex. He is a huge regret of mine.

Justice

30 years ago I went to see Bruce For a double paternity suit And child support case because my husband was a political figure and I had gone to a few other attorneys that told me that they would not go up against him Because it could prove to hurt them in their Careers if they did. Bruce and my husba...nd had past history so Bruce was more than willing to go up against him. Yes it is true Bruce is rude and arrogant to his clients He even had a sign in his desk that said BOSS ( spelled backwards is double SOB) so you kinda got the gist right up front. I wanted to be amicable with my children’s father but Bruce let me know that he wasn’t concerned with me but he was there for my children to get them what they deserved. Each time we went into court and the judge ruled in my favor my husband would fire his attorney (3 in all during the process). But My children got a settlement and I got custody and child support. Which he didn’t pay so Bruce went for the garnishment. We win again. However my husband didn’t show for court because he was at the hospital doing a chemo session. Bruce didn’t care, he was in contempt for not showing. I begged Bruce to leave it be but was ignored as I found out when I received a call from my husband informing me that he was about to be arrested and taken to jail. Being who he was they allowed him to call me first. I called Bruce and had to actually fire him from my case to avoid my husbands arrest. Even though I feel Bruce does go to the extreme. He is one hell of a lawyer and I would recommend him to anyone. He gets the job done. He can be a bit pricey, but in my case at least, he took his fee out of the settlement with minimal up front as I just didn’t have it on the consult. Yes you have to be thick skinned in order to work with Bruce and deal with his arrogance but he gets the job done and I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone I come across that may need a good attorney in the same situation as I found myself. Mind you I do give fair warning to them as to Bruce’s “Sunny“ personality so that they just don’t totally get the wrong impression of him and put your trust in him that he will get you the results that your children need and deserve in the end.

Best family law attorney in Harris county

I hired Bruce to help me get better visitation with my daughter. This process took over a year to get done. Bruce is not the nicest guy but he is the best lawyer you can get in family court. Bruce was highly recommended to me by my aunt who works at the family court. He got me a none standard visitat...ion which I needed because of my work schedule and he destroyed the opposing attorney who tried to make it look like a made more money than I did to get more money in child support. I am very happy with the results. If you need an attorney hire this guy.

Fantastic Family Law Attorney / Custody

When my ex-husband lodged a custody suit against me, I was referred to Bruce by a former Harris County Family Law Judge as one of the best lawyers ever to walk into her courtroom. Boy!! was she right!! As long as you play by his rules, everything will go great. He is abrupt, to the point and not s...o much on the "warm fuzzy" side of life; however, he kicks butt in the courtroom AND THAT WHAT YOU NEED!!. Other lawyers and judges have the greatest of respect for him. I only wish that I had hired him for my divorce!!! If you want the best - go see Bruce!!
