Our family had a very disappointing experience with Michelle and her counterpart, Terry, during my father’s divorce case. We paid a $15,000 retainer expecting proactive representation, clear communication, and meaningful results. Unfortunately, the outcome was no better than what he likely could have... accomplished filing on his own through LegalHelp.org. Communication was a consistent issue throughout the process. Emails often went unanswered for extended periods, and follow-up was required just to receive basic updates. For something as serious and financially impactful as a divorce proceeding, the lack of responsiveness created unnecessary stress and uncertainty. Most concerning is that for nearly five months, Michelle has continued to hold my father’s decree without filing it for signature to finalize the case. This delay has had real consequences — he has been unable to move forward with retirement because the divorce has not been formally completed. For the significant retainer paid, we expected professionalism, urgency, and advocacy. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend their services.
