Dennisse is an attorney with more than 11 years of experience in Labor and Corporate Law in Puerto Rico. Recently has become an Associate Attorney at Jeff Gilbert Law Office. Her practice in Texas entirely focuses on Elder Law, with an emphasis on Probate, Guardianship of Minors and Adults, Estate Planning and Medicaid. She also collaborates in cases with Spanish-speaking clients.

Background
Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the daughter of a Civil Engineer and an Accountant, Dennisse is the third of 15 siblings. From an early age, she was an advocated of her friends and siblings, she used her voice to defend others, and was also the voice of those who were afraid to speak. She studied at the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, in 2004 completed a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting. Dennisse created a balance between her family, her children, and her studies, so in 2009 she received her Juris Doctor from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. She passed the Puerto Rico bar in 2010 and became a lawyer in 2011 and since then her legal practice was mainly family, civil, labor, and corporate law.
In January 2016 Dennisse moved with her children to Pearland, Texas, a year after her husband, a Civil Engineer, accepted a job offer with Zachry Group. She worked as a legal assistant at the Law Office of Leena Bhasin, in 2020 she joins the law firm of Jeffrey R. Gilbert, P.C., as a legal assistant, then works with Mary Peter Cudd Law Office, learning about Elder Law. In July 2021 received her license from the State of Texas to practice as a lawyer and is promoted to Associate Attorney at Jeff Gilbert Law Office.
Dennisse lives in Pearland with her husband, three children and her dog Roxy. Since she came to Pearland she volunteers at the Pearland Neighborhood Center, where among other things, she helps Spanish-speaking people in applying and receiving the services offered by the center. She volunteers as a co-leader and first aider of the Girl Scout Troop 142002 that her daughter attends. In her free time, she enjoys her family, volunteering, reading, and taking care of her garden.

Dennisse es una abogada con más de 11 años de experiencia en Derecho Laboral y Corporativo en Puerto Rico. Es abogada asociada en la Oficina Legal de Jeff Gilbert. Su práctica en Texas se enfoca enteramente en Elder Law, con énfasis en Sucesiones, Tutela de menores y adultos, Planificación Patrimonial y Medicaid. También ayuda en los casos con clientes de habla hispana.

Background
Nacida y criada en San Juan, Puerto Rico, Hija de un Ingeniero Civil y una Contable, Dennisse es la tercera de 15 hermanos. Desde temprana edad, se interesó en que se tratara a las personas de una manera justa, uso su voz para defender a los demás, y ser la voz de aquellos que no se atrevían a expresarse, luchaba por lo que entendía que era correcto. Cursó sus estudios en la Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico, en el 2004 completó un bachillerato en Administración de Empresas con concentración en Contabilidad. Dennisse creó un balance entre su familia, sus hijos y sus estudios, por lo que en el 2009 recibe su Juris Doctor de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico. Se licenció como abogada en el 2011 y desde entonces su practica legal fue principalmente, familia, civil, laboral y corporativa.
Dennisse se trasladó con sus hijos a Pearland, Texas en enero del 2016, a un año de que su esposo un Ingeniero Civil, aceptara una oferta de trabajo con Zachry Group. En el 2020 se une a la firma legal de Jeffrey R. Gilbert, como asistente legal, luego trabaja con la oficina de Mary Peter Cudd, aprendiendo sobre Elder Law y en Julio del 2021 recibe su licencia del Estado de Texas para ejercer como abogada, por lo que es promovida a Abogada Asociada de Jeff Gilbert Law Office.
Dennisse vive en Pearland con su esposo, sus tres hijos y su perrita Roxy. Es co lider y First Aider de las Niñas Escuchas de la tropa 142002 a la que su hija asiste. En su tiempo libre disfruta compartir con su familia, leer, sembrar y cuidar sus plantas y es voluntaria del Pearland Neighborhood Center, donde entre otras cosas ayudaba a las personas de habla hispana a recibir los servicios que ofrece el centro.
