Jessica took my case in Brazos county and did not at all do what she said she would. She constantly pushed dates back, only showed up in person to one hearing after being 2 hours late for going to the wrong court house in another county. I decided to go another direction and she promised me a refund ...that I still have not received years later after multiple attempts to reach her about it. Do not hire her.

In my opinion this is the absolute worst attorney ever. I WOULD NOT HIRE THIS WOMAN IF I COULD GO BACK IN TIME!!!! I thought that she started out as a decent lawyer for my custody case. Told me everything that I needed (wanted) to hear. Sue sue sue......go for it....you got it..... no problem....etc.......etc. Do not believe any of her lies. It is all about money with her. The only thing that was any good was that the opposing council (Matthew Mahoney) let her know that my ex had a DUI that he was handling, she told me that he accidentally gave her that case and then she guaranteed my case because of that (HER EXACT WORDS WERE....YOU WILL NEVER BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED, OPPOSING COUNCIL IS SUCH AN IDIOT......ETC, ETC) . Then she just gave up. Did not hear from her for quite awhile after that. The case continued on and I paid over and over again. Nothing happened. In the end i got rid of her. A new attorney and a few weeks later..... my daughter lives with me. Be really careful when it comes to Jessica Adams.

I hired the firm she worked at for a custody case, they assigned my case to Ms. Adams. I had trouble reaching her, and had to leave multiple messages. She was always late for court and never seemed to know the details of my case. She was late for mediation by several hours, to the point the other... attorney nearly cancelled the mediation altogether. I did not understand the agreement I signed and was not able to work with the visitation arrangement after it was entered. Ms. Adams filed a motion for New Trial in my case without ever talking to me about it, causing me to incur extra legal fees. And in the end I did not get the outcome she said I would at the start of the case.

I hired Jessica because she made a lot of promises regarding my divorce/ child custody case. I was very honest with her about my entire situation and she made me feel confident about my case. I gave her $7500 because she promised we would take my case to trial. From the moment I walked out of her off...ice, there was little to no communication with her. She doesn't return phone calls, emails, nothing. She missed several court dates. The judge was fuming mad at her about all the missed dates. I could go on and on about the lies she told me.
