I am very disappointed with how Jessica Adam's mediated my divorce. In my opinion, she didn't fight hard enough on my behalf. I was only given a small amount of "spousal support" and for not more than a year. I did not work at the time and have not found anything that will pay my bills and actually l...eave me a little money for emergencies. I was married for over 21 years and yet, did not receive any of my husband's pension or annuities. I will not be covered on his health insurance nor continue life insurance unless I pay for my own. I don't make enough money from him to pay all the bills, groceries, insurance on my truck, maintenance on my truck or my 30+ old house, take care of my dog (including, but not limited to, prescription food, monthly medications, vet visits). I feel the mediation was unjust and left me hanging by a thread.

Jessica worked tirelessly throughout COVID to ensure that my divorce was not delayed. She kept me updated during the process and even put many of my worries at ease. I even had difficulty finding a notary to complete my last form for court. She was able to connect me with a virtual notary and was ab...le to do it right in my own car. I can’t thank her enough for all her help. She is amazing.

She was very clear with what we would go through process wise. She told me worse case versus best case. She listened to me and was patient even when I did not automatically chose her until later. I also appreciated her prompt response and when she was quick to contact my now ex husband’s lawyer when ...my ex had threatened me.

I would recommend Jessica for anybody needing to hire an attorney knowledgeable in family court. She exposed my ex-husband’s weaknesses and In accuracies in court in front of the judge and therapist. I wish I had all of it on film! She was able to draw out his true identity. She was thorough with h...er research and on time for court and all paperwork needed in the case. What also was very helpful is that she has a good working relationship with multiple lawyers mediators judges and therapists in the courthouse. That is invaluable. She is very friendly and professional.

I hired Mrs. Adams to represent me on two cases one of which is a divorce.  When i hired Mrs.  Adams i set specific expecations to address my needs and requirments,  she has yet to address a single one of those concerns.  I made repeated request for motions for time sensitive temporary orders that i ...understand could have been addressed without mediation via an emergency motion but was constantly told that she would file after mediation.  It has now been more than two months since mediation and not only has she failed to file the motions she promised she would she will not return my calls or emails.  I am now two momths away from my final hearing and she has yet to file for a psychological evaluation that takes 8 months to complete. I am extremely concerned the judge will not allow for these evaluations to take place because they can not be compelted in a timely manner.  Mrs. Adams has also almost filed a motion that included language that would have severly harmed my case.  I have asked her questions to help me gage if she has an accurate understanding of my case and it seems she does not and got offended that i asked.  I have tried to work with her to help her better understand my case and she has refused.  In both cases i hired her for a flat rate paid in full at the time the contract was signed.  I highly recomend that if you have no choice but to hire Mrs. Adams you do not pay in advance.  I am writing this review in an attempt to get her to address my concerns and review my case,  please help me by not hiring her.
