Hollie Leigh Hale

During the course of a custody dispute, we hired Hollie Hale (she was appointed) as amicus attorney for our children. We found Hollie to be very friendly and easy to talk to. From the beginning she was encouraging to us about our goal, which was 50/50 custody. Our children love Hollie! Instead of... feeling stressed or uncomfortable, the kids really looked forward to visiting with Hollie. I think she's great with kids! However, throughout the time we worked with Hollie she did not return emails and very rarely returned calls. Each time we met with Hollie she explained that she felt the suit filed against us was unfounded and that she would advocate for 50/50 custody. She also assured us that the judge assigned to our case also favored 50/50 custody. However, when we got into mediation, opposing counsel wouldn't agree to any plan for 50/50 and Hollie changed her tune. She pushed for us to give up parenting time and never spoke of the judge likely favoring 50/50 again. We were extremely disappointed. We absolutely would not recommend Ms Hale for amicus.
