I am a native Houstonian who worked in the oil & gas industry for many years before making the decision to pursue a law degree. I earned my Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in 1995. I am Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and I am a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multimillion-Dollar Advocates Forum. Lastly, I have earned an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating an attorney can receive.
I have decades of experience as a personal injury attorney in Texas. It gives me great pride an honor helping individuals and their families who have suffered tremendous injury and loss due to the carelessness of others. I have spent my entire career fighting for the justice they deserve. Consequently, I have handled a wide range of cases throughout the state such as auto accidents, trucking accidents, industrial accidents, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.
My wife and I have been married for over 26 years. We have three children, all of whom are graduates of Texas A&M University. I could not be prouder. In my spare time I enjoy a round of golf. However, when nature calls I can be found fighting a trout in Galveston Bay or stalking a trophy buck through the cactus and mesquite of South Texas. One thing I have learned through the years is that life is precious and time on this earth is unpredictable. Therefore, make the most out of it and enjoy!

Friend and my Lawyer
Ron is a great lawyer and friend! In this litigious society we live in, you always need to be prepared for the unexpected! I retained Ron during a neighbor dispute where the neighbor was being unreasonable and lawsuit happy. Ron backed up my property insurance lawyers because he knows me personally...

All Talk, No Action
Mr. Lovett is an expansive, impressive talker but produced zero for me except to waste my time. Ultimately, in the long run, he accomplished ZERO except to discourage and depress my spirits so that I don't feel like trying to find another lawyer. He, with total lack of conscience, wasted several mont...
We are sorry that you feel you had a bad experience with our firm. We strive for the utmost client satisfaction in every case that we accept. You were initially advised that it was unlikely you had a claim that we would be interested in pursuing on your behalf. However, although you never became a client of our firm, we did take the time to evaluate your potential complaint against the physician as a courtesy. Thereafter, we formally rejected the matter and referred you to three medical malpractice lawyers with over 16 months remaining on the 2 year statute of limitations. I must reiterate what was stated to you previously: "I know that it will be difficult for you to accept. That is why I encourage you, if you are so inclined, to seek a second opinion. The fact that I have decided not to take the case does not necessarily mean you do not have a claim. You may find an attorney who, after conducting a thorough investigation and evaluation of the claim, reaches a completely different conclusion. I do not take every case or claim that I review; therefore, if you have any doubts, I urge you to contact another attorney to review this matter immediately."
"I strongly endorse Mr. Lovett. Ronald K. Lovett is an excellent attorney whose commands respect from those who practice with him. Ron possesses a natural presence in the courtroom. I have observed first-hand his superb skill in front of juries and the bench. Ron is a diligent worker who understands every facet of prosecuting complex litigation, especially personal injury cases. Even though he is a successful attorney, Ron is a strong family man and an active participant in raising his children. Ron Lovett has my strongest endorsement. I've hired him numerous times."
