My accident happened in January 2022 and I heard about Ben through a coworker who had hired him after his accident. I had never been in this type of situation before and was really scared that it would be hard. From every thing I have heard about from people who had been in my situation before it di...dn't sound easy. Most people told me that their lawyers weren't easy to get in contact with or didn't care about their situation at all. My case had already been reset once under the order that I find an attorney for myself since the court denied my indigent claim, stating my income was too high. On this second reset appearance, Mr. Benjamin Brushe took the initiative and persuaded the judge to allow himself to be my representation, w...hich I immediately accepted. I am absolutely grateful for this simple act of kindness, because it has led to my ultimate dismissal on this case. When I visited his office after that initial meet, he already had a solid plan laid out for a mitigation package to allow for my case to have a greater chance at a more favorable outcome. In the process we reached out to the VA for myself to inquire and register for therapy and services that will help me with my personal issues that ultimately brought me into this case. We also reached out to associates and friends for character letters in reference to my behavior and whether or not I make a good fit for society. Through all of this, Mr. Brushe and his office clearly communicated and reached out to me on a consistent basis and maintained an absolutely professional attitude and service. On September 13th, 2022 the judge signed dismissal for this case and I am free to go. During this whole situation, Mr. Brushe gave me a feeling I had never had or felt from a person in such a professional career, which would be genuine empathy. In my life I feel I have had a lot of negative encounters with people and it had led me to a very negative mindset in general. Benjamin Brushe's behavior and his honest service has helped open my eyes to a bigger world I had been cutting myself off from. He unwittingly pulled me out of my own cage, and my life has taken a complete turn around because of this experience.
