Let's start with the confident promise he made to, "Get you what you expected [meaing the construction project] for what you agreed to pay for it." The case took 3 yrs to resolve. Of course I wanted immediate resolution, but Wendell sagely insisted on tactical patience. He calmly dealt with contra...ctor getting the "home field advantage" (abatement); dealt with a botched mediation; and patiently kept things moving until a second mediation, where we receive an acceptable settlement. He was amazing during mediation, shooting down (on legal precedence) every evasive maneuver that was tried. To the promise: If I don't try to include silly stuff like suffering or time lost, the amount received did in fact meet his promise.
