Lu Li

Born in the wonderful city of Beijing, China, I immigrated to the United States with my family at the ripe age of five. After arriving in the United States, I adopted Seattle as my new home town, and have been a proud Seattleite ever since.

As a member of the Washington State Bar Association, I am active in the Probate and Trust, and Tax Law Sections. I am also involved with the King County Bar Association, and do my best to contribute to the wonderful volunteer programs maintained by the KCBA.

As is tradition with many homegrown Washingtonians, I attended the University of Washington, becoming the first of what I hope to be a long generation of Huskies. Initially planning to pursue a career in medicine, my dedication to social justice eventually led me to double-majors in Political Science and Law, Societies, and Justice. Following graduation, I gave up a promising future in the culinary arts, deciding to pursue a career in Law. As was inevitable, I eventually obtained my degree from the University of Washington School of Law, fulfilling my calling as a Double Dawg.

In addition to my ability to occasionally string together coherent sentences in English, I also speak conversational Mandarin Chinese, and even have some limited understanding of the French language.
