I hope you will choose another lawyer.
This firm shares a compound with several other businesses, and I apparently parked in their almost empty lot at 5:00 (as they were closing for the day) so my wife and I could visit her grandma who is in hospice care in the adjacent facility. A woman came out and rudely told me that I wasn’t allowed t...
Dear Stocky, Thank you for taking the time to post your concern about our parking lot. I see also that you are not one of our clients. I’m truly sorry to hear about your experience, however you must understand that our building and its parking lot are private property. We have numerous tenants and they all have clients who expect to be able to park at our building. At the end of the day we need to secure our building, and if there are unassociated vehicles parking in our lot we cannot know if it is a client of the building and we would not want to lock them out, so it creates problems if there are vehicles in the lot which are not those of our tenants nor their clients. There are signs stating that the parking is for the Springer Professional Building only. I am sorry you felt that you were treated unfairly, but the building next door has its own parking which should be used by those visiting that business, and we cannot allow you to park in our lot unless you have business in our building. I am sorry your grandmother is in poor health and is in hospice. It is especially difficult during this time of year. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday, and that you cherish the memories you have with your grandmother.

Don’t Be Fooled
She will take everything you have. I remember walking into her office and seeing someone crying and yelling at her. I also found out the hard way....she doesn’t go to court....I thought that meant she gets things done so you don’t have to go to court...I was so wrong. She will take as much money as...

A Waste of Time and Money
This was the fifth lawyer that I consulted about my "case". An "educated and experienced" JP with a law degree, threw out my "eviction" case (Small Claims Court) by my partner of 22 years, stating "common law marriage", which left me in "limbo". I needed a "good lawyer" to advise me. Can't find one...
Ms. Nicholson, Thank you for taking the time to post a review on our law firm. I’m sorry you felt you did not receive value for your consultation fee. I spoke with the associate attorney who met with you, and I understand that you and she discussed numerous issues other than the common law issue you had already determined from other attorneys was not a viable option for you. She also spent more than an hour with you discussing your situations and gave you valuable advice. Had you wanted the instantaneous second opinion on the initial issue and gotten that before you had settled in to the chair, I’m sure Ms. Sumers would have refunded your consultation fee, but as it was you did receive a consultation which covered numerous issues and you did receive legal opinions and advice and spent over an hour in the consultation. We do offer initial consultations at a reduced fee cost. Ms. Sumers used an hour she could have billed $400 for to spend the hour plus with you. I am so sorry you came out of your consultation feeling you had not received value for your money, and all of us at the Springer Law Firm wish you well with your situation. Kindly, Sarah Springer, Attorney at Law/ Mediator/ Former Judge Past President, Katy Bar Association Past President, Fort Bend Bar Association The Springer Law Firm, PLLC
