I hired this attorney for a workers' compensation matter and unfortunately had a very frustrating experience. Communication was extremely limited, and it was difficult to get responses to important questions about my case. My benefits stopped while I was still undergoing treatment and missing time fr...om work due to Physical therapy, yet I was not given clear guidance or proactive support. I often had to follow up multiple times without receiving helpful or timely answers. This process is already stressful, and having an attorney who is not responsive only makes things more difficult. I would recommend choosing someone who is more communicative and actively involved in your case. I switch lawyers!

Meridith MacNaughton appears to be interested solely in her financial gain. She called me days before a BRC and asked me the details of my injury, and then stated she need to get the records from the doctor. When I asked her about a compromise and release agreement she told me there was no such thing... in a workman's Comp case even when I showed her the research that I had done which left me to believe that she want knowledgeable or willing to do the paper work to file for this as Im completely unsure of what to expect going to a BRC with her representing me only getting prepared 5 or 6 days before after she's had my case for 2-3 weeks prior too she says that I can propose a agreement where I voluntarily resign from my employer for a lump sum settlement

I used her for a workers comp case… the worse decision ever. She Does not properly communicate with the treating doctors to clearly communicate what is needed she does not communicate clearly with the client to also ensure they know what’s going on or needed to ensure the case moves forward appropria...tely. When I confronted her on her lack of communication and clarity she got defensive. If you want someone who is going to ensure you have the best case to present during a workers comp battle she isn’t it. Pick someone else. Now I’m here attempting to do the job the attorney didn’t and she had the nerve to write on the severance of representation that she had interest in the case financially girl bye you did nothing.
