Having evaluated and negotiated thousands of criminal cases while serving as a Chief prosecutor in the public sector, Nicole has the ability to evaluate cases from both the prosecution and defense perspective. Having built the White Collar Crime and Civil Division from the ground up, Nicole was then selected for her skill and experience to build the Major Crimes Division. During her tenure, she was directly involved with narcotics officers in the investigation and prosecution of large-scale narcotics offenses (multi-kilo cocaine, marijuana, meth and heroine cases). Nicole gained invaluable experience as the Major Crimes Division Chief where prosecuted all major drug cases with first degree felony amounts. As a Chief Prosecutor in two specialized divisions at the Montgomery County District attorney’s Office she learned how the Department of Justice conducts investigations and how the District Attorney’s Office conducts grand jury presentations, jury trials, criminal forfeitures and bond forfeitures. She has over ten years of criminal experience in cases, including but not limited to: Possession of Marijuana Possession of Controlled Substance Driving While Intoxicated Driving While License Invalid Assault Assault Family Violence Aggravated Robbery In addition, to prosecuting hundreds of Justice of the Peace, Misdemeanor and Felony cases Nicole is most notably known for her experience and expertise in the field of white collar crime and civil litigation. She was the first white collar crime prosecutor in the history of Montgomery County and went on to serve as the Chief of the White Crime and Civil Division for five years. Under her direction, leadership and with her expertise, this division prosecuted cases that were complex, paper intensive and require specialized knowledge. Many of the cases handled by the white collar division required direct and routine interaction with special agents from the following law enforcement agencies on both the State and Federal Level: Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI_ Department of Justice (DOJ) Homeland Security (HSI) Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) As the former White Collar and Civil Division Chief, Nicole has first degree felony experience in all financial and fraud related crimes, including but not limited to, Money Laundering Engaging in Organized Crime Aggregate Theft Theft from a Non-Profit Organization Theft from the Elderly Identity Theft Misapplication of Fiduciary Property Securing Execution of Document by Deception Tampering with a Government Document Credit Card Abuse Title Fraud Most notably, Nicole is a Certified Fraud Examiner and her expertise is recognized by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
