Claire Ellen Lindsay

I hired Claire Ellen Lindsay after my father died. He suffered from dementia for a long time before his death. My sister had him change the will cutting me out of the will knowing he had dementia. This was discovered after my fathers death. I was very sick with a terminal illness at the time and was... devastated. I suspected this may happen before his death and consulted with Claire before he died. After his death and the facts came out I hired Clair to help handle the case. Claire took my almost 1,200 dollars to retain her as my attorney. She never helped in any way. She would say what she could do in the meeting face to face but never did anything. Then contact with her just became email exchanges I was charged for.. I felt in the end I should have just paid the other side. I begged her to do something but she never made any attempt to stop or delay or win the outcome. I felt Clair was completely against me. It's fine to loose in the end but not trying to win is much worse. After talking to other attorneys now I have been told what could have been done but Clair did nothing other then relay messages between me and the other sides attorney. I could have done this worthless act myself for free. Then without even talking to me she released me as a client by a letter in the US mail. This was surprising since we had no discussion about ending our relationship. The rules of this review are to list what the attorney did or did not do. Claire did nothing. Very disappointed in her service. I do not recommend her to anyone.
