No Fight No Win

She drop the ball on numerous occasions. I felt she was the perfect lawyer but she is not consistent. She didn't fight for our family no appeals or nothing. After she loss the case she didn't reach out to the family just drop us like a bad habit. I knew nothing about our justice system. I reached out... to her just to get a simple copy of paper. She said she would get I have yet to receive nor will she answer our calls. She just left my family alone.

Best Lawyer so Far

I had a child custody matter that seem as if it would go on for ever and not in my favor. I had spoken with Ms Elam and she just made me feel like it would all be ok just keep doing what i was doing and she would take care of the rest. Well, low and behold at the end of my journey it ended very well ...and i was pleased. I want to thank her for everything she has done for me and i would recommend her to my friends and family. Thanks again Ms Elam

Poor Execution!!

I was referred to Tyesha from a known associate. In the beginning Tyesha, to what I believed, was going to bat for me on a child custody case. I spent upwards of $3000.00 over the course of 3 years with her. Some days there would be progress, but for the most part I understood it would be hard to get... full custody in the state of texas. Our last meeting, I got the attorney general to finally get my childs mother into court...this is after spending hundreds of dollars get Tyesha's 'person' to track and serve my sons mother. We found ourselves in Fort Bend County court talking child support?? All the while, I am trying and paying to get papers served to the mother to go to court for the custody and equal rights to my child...at this point my son's mother was refusing to let me see or interact with my child...I am being required to pay additional child support. My child support went up and even though I am working a job that pays less money as to when I first went on child support...HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?? I paid my lawyer fees of that day which totaled close to 500.00(90% of my income tht month) and went on my merry way thinking...since I'm paying more child support then maybe I will get to see my son. That didn't happen atleast for 1 month. I had my father follow the mother from the court from to the residence, but got lost. But he did retain the license of the car she was driving. Of course Tyesha had no clue how to track down a residence based off of that...so I had a friend do it. Low and behold...address and vehicles found!! On july 4, 2013 my son's mother decides its better if my son lives with me so that she doesn't have to deal with my anymore....I obliged!! The only issue now is that I still have child support coming out of my checks and the child lives with me!! I have attempted to contact Tyesha every way I knew possible...phone, text, email, facebook, even my associate that hooked us up, even stopped by her office and had her secretary leave her a message. and to this day I still have not received a call back. It has been completely unprofessional!! Instead of paying a lawyer to start over from scratch, I'd like to have the person fighting for me that I have paid my hard earned money. I have reported her to the bar...I have a feeling she is doing this as a hobby and doesn't really care what happens to her clients Tyesha Elam. if you want to finish what you started and what I HAVE BEEN PAYING YOU FOR, you know how to get in contact with me...all my numbers are the same bar # - 24026819
