Honest. Fair. Absolutely Amazing

I realized that I needed representation for my discrimination case just a few days before meeting with the EEOC, and with such short notice, Ian agreed to be my council. He really knows how this process works and was extremely helpful with my settlement. I honestly could not have done this without ...his help. He guided me through every step and went above and beyond to be my voice, where I could not, and articulated my grievances better than expected. I would hire Ian Scharfman again multiple times over if I could.

Knowledgeable Attorney

I needed a strong and knowledgeable attorney to pursue an age discrimination suit against a former employer. Mr. Scharfman was the perfect counsel for my case which concluded in a positive settlement.

Exceptionally good legal work by Ian Scharfman who is surely tops in his field.

Mr. Scharfman provided me expert legal advise about age discrimination and artfully and competently represented me in discussions and negotiations with a former employer regarding severance and the terms of my separation with the company.

Labor and Discrimination Case

Ian Scharfman represented me in a labor and discrimination case against my employer. He provided excellent legal advice, was very candid and knowledgeable about my options, and also shared his expansive knowledge of applicable Federal and State laws related to my case.

Excellent Lawyer

I hired Mr. Scharfman to work on my discrimination related case. My case was difficult, but he did an excellent job in getting good results. He is not only a good lawyer but also a good negotiator. I fully recommend him to anybody looking for a good lawyer.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
