The benefits I received from his many years of experience in managing unsavory divorces, financial & property disputes, and child possession orders was tremendous. I hired Attorney McCarty to handle my divorce, but most importantly manage the custody battle for my two precious young children at th...e time of the separation. Just the thought of being forced to be a “Weekend Dad” was overwhelming and devastating to me. I want to thank Attorney McCarty for everything that he did for me and my Children. It is a debt far more than money, that I could never fully repay. When the dust had settled, and the decree had been signed, I fully realized at that time, that Attorney McCarty (1) always had a strategy specific for me situation (2) was always one step ahead of the opposing counsel and (3) was continuously working that strategy on my behalf, even when I could not see it. The net result was an extremely favorable possession schedule with my children, which was most important. Moreover, Attorney McCarty also strategically negotiated the division of assets to the point that it fully covered all my Attorney fees. Any attorney can handle documentation from Request for Production to final Decree, but Attorney McCarty brings so much more to table for his Clients. Thank you again for everything Attorney McCarty!

He worked on my divorce/custody case and answered all my questions and I had a lot! He was available when I needed to talk to him and he listened to me. He explained the process as well as did an OUTSTANDING job representing me. Mr. McCarty was conscientious and thorough. He did such a great job for... me that I have referred several of my friends to him.

I retained him for my child custody case, and he decided (after judge's questioning of his actions) that it was in MY best interest for him to write temporary orders instead of permanent orders when the mother of my child and I agreed on terms. He would naturally for more retainer when finalization ...time came. In writing the temporary orders he wrote terms differently than what was agreed upon, ensuring work was needed when time to finalize came to fruition. Fast forward to time to finalize my orders, I reluctantly decided to let him finish it out, as there was retainer left. I am now sitting here 14 months later, and my case has not moved forward one step. Mr. McCarty has done absolutely nothing for me, other than to cause my family and me to be out over $5000 (for a grand total of over $8000 including his initial retainer for the temp orders). Mr. McCarty has been deceitful in his dealings with me, blaming others for his inability to move the case forward, even though I have seen proof contrary of his claims. He has been very difficult to contact. He rarely answers his phone, a good quarter of the time has a full voicemail box, and even still does not answer voicemails or emails. Finally, after over a year of being completely ineffective, Mr. McCarty was ready to set a mediation date for my case, and had told me a time and date to call him to set the mediation date. I ended up calling him a day early just to tell him that I didn't care what date he decided to pick for mediation the next day, as I was tired of waiting and would make any date work. Mr. McCarty had the nerve to tell me he could no longer do something as simple as looking at his calendar vs. potential mediation dates on the date and time he had already agreed to because he had, and I quote "more pressing matters." I threatened to fire him, and ended up doing so the next day after careful consideration. He then decided to fire a motion to withdraw as if he decided to withdraw on his own volition, rather than being fired for being a very very bad lawyer. I would not recommend Daniel E. McCarty Jr. to ANYONE. Let this serve as fair warning that he will not take your case and needs seriously, and will not have any sense of urgency when things are urgent.

Mr. McCarty really helped me and was always by my side every step of the way. He was 100% honest with me with everything and is a real shark! He doesn't take bs from the other side and would not allow me to be bullied by my ex (and yes my ex tried!). I felt so comfortable with him and would recommend... him to anyone!
