Biography
That is correct, I was disciplined by the State Bar for allegations stemming from a client who was (and I guess still is, because I see inquiries from his home country in Europe on some sites) h--- bent on destroying me. At the time he retained me, I did not realize who and what he really was all about.
On the flip side, since 1980, I have helped my clients and my friends fix all kinds of legal problems. Never before this complex situation, (it's been a nightmare) did I have any licensing issues. I was not disciplined by the State Bar of Texas or the State Bar of Illinois for any other client matters. If this remains a problem for you in a search for an attorney, please keep searching for someone else.
But if you can look past this "problem" in my long legal career, then please consider retaining me for your famliy law and real estate legal work. I'd appreciate the opportunity to assist you in resolving the problems.

I practice family law: divorces, visitation, and child support problems. As a former real estate broker, I am especially knowledgable in real estate transactions, mortgage, financing and default of mortgage payment situations. I am a solo practioner. I work by myself, but network with attorneys that practice in just about every area of the legal profession. If it's something that I cannot handle, I will refer you to and provide suggestions of other attorneys that you can consider for assitance with ypour situation.

Took charge and solved my problem

Horrible attorney
I spend a lot of money on this attorney and she didn't do nothing but intimidate my family and reacting so obviously that she wasn't on my side of the case. She gave me 1 day notice of trial ... Anyway I waste my time and money!

Replied last September 10, 2019Accused of physical child abuse, son, about 7 or so, supported by the child's doctor's records, not paying child support, does not answer discovery, does not show up for mediation, an hour late for a court hearing, does not show up for trial, and it's all my fault. Despite all of this, and a BIG increase in his earnings, (as a storm chasing roofer,) that would affect his child support obligations, at trial, WITHOUT HIM THERE, I was able to leave his child support obligation at his old rate. Really?

Helpful caring and reliable
H Bergman is an easy to talk to person and any time I had a question and or problem she was and has been there for me. I trust her and feel like I am talking to a freind more so than a Lawyer. I believe she is like that with all her clients .

Replied last September 10, 2019I'm pretty sure that I know who this is, but just know, that most of my clients feel this way. If they have a personal agenda, I cannot protect my reputation from them. Just today, I had another old client call me with a collection agency issue. Old clients would not contact me if they did not appreciate my efforts from previous cases. I am so blessed with all my previous clients, many who have become dear friends, that I have helped for almost FORTY YEARS.
