Evelin Yaribel Bailey

Evelin Y. Bailey is an Senior Associate at Monty & Ramirez, where she represents clients in all aspects of employment and labor law, including federal and state discrimination cases filed under Title VII, Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and wage and hour laws. She provides counsel to clients about properly handling employment disputes and managing day-to-day employee issues, including leaves of absence, accommodation of disabilities, preparation and implementation of employment policies, employee separations, employment agreements and charges of discrimination, before litigation ensues. She also advises employers about their document retention policies and practices, and prepares policies for employee discipline and terminations. Additionally, Evelin counsels clients on all aspects of immigration compliance, such as Form I-9 issues, the use of E-verify, identity theft indicators and changes in the law regarding federal and state identification documentation.
