Litigation 75%

Litigation...it's all I do! I'm licensed in state court, federal court, 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and U.S. Supreme Court. I'm the Chair of the Houston Law Practice Management Committee, a member of the Litigation Committee (HBA), and admitted as member of Garland Walker Inns of Court, an invitation only civil litigation Inn. I've tried and been in front of over 50 different counties in Texas. Comfortable in Houston or donning boots in Amarillo. Litigation is what I do.

Personal Injury 10%

Having handled over 400 claims a year from 1994 - 1999, I am the go-to guy on discerning true injuries from clients more concerned about money than treating any reputed injuries. I only take clients that are hurt and hurting...PERIOD. And I handle your case personally. Not some "paralegal" or newbie attorney instructed to settle your file

Generally, when I think of "business advise", it's a client looking to incorporate a build a business, enter a lease or create a plan. Having my own practice has allowed me insight to software, personnel and staffing, employment, tax and taxation, state agency compliance and IRS issues. You will NOT get this at a large firm where attorneys specialize in one field. Real world experiences and diversity matters. Small firm attorneys are the best.

Construction and Development 5%

I'm one of the few attorneys in Houston who truly has a construction background. My father, a custom home builder, in New Braunfels, took me to job sites ever since I could walk. At age 12, my first job was to tie steel cross-members for a slab. I've put on roofs, hung sheetrock, constructed fences, poured concrete and much more, including personally running a bulldozer, tractor and other implements. Hire a lawyer who has been in the business, not just read about it!

small claims collection

I was recommended to Mr. Seidel by a fellow worker when I was sued by credit card company. Mr. Seidel was able to research issue and noticed the debt belonged to my mother and I could charge but not responsible. He got my case dismissed. He was very reasonable and even returned some of my deposit ...money.
