They can definitely take your tax refund. I do not believe they can get to a dependent's social security. Hopefully, someone with experience here...

In all likelihood you have a judgment. If there is a judgment, you will need assistance to get it set aside for no service.

A debt collector cannot put out a warrant. Send the a debt verification letter and they are suppose to send you proof of the debt. Keep a log of...
