Excellent Attorney

I contacted Chris Lincoln's office to handle a name change for a minor. The paperwork was drawn up and handled in a timely manner. Chris and Darby walked me through the process and answered all of my questions, including questions that didn't pertain to the name change case. I highly recommend her. ...

Highly recommend

Very proactive, very comforting in a difficult time. Had the skills and network to provide the financial, and legal framework for a complicated situation. Put the kids first in our dealings and was a very smooth process. Highly recommend.

Overly complicated case - Parental Alienation

Christine represented me in my first divorce 11 years ago. That case was complicated, but this one was overly complicated. Christine was well aware of my circumstances in my first divorce and over time, things do change. This divorce entailed secreting of a child, a positive drug test at birth of... the child, parental alienation, Child Protective Services involvement, etc. In all, Christine would face 3 different opposing attorneys and a ton of abuse from the opposing client. Christine used her experience to work with Child Protective Services (not an easy task), an amicus attorney, psychologist, and a psychiatrist in order for me to obtain more than I ever thought I would be able to obtain, and patience. The case lasted about 18 months and had a lot of twists and turns, but in the end I received expanded visitation, and more. Christine was very successful in combating the parental alienation. Christine used a discovery tool called a 'Request for Admissions'. The opposition did not want to answer the Request for Admissions and attempted to throw a 'Protective Order' against me. That caused about an 8 month delay in the case, but eventually the Admissions would be answered and probably forced a settlement to be reached. The case was expensive, but with Christine's case management skills there was never any doubt that billed expenses were not justified. The amicus attorney in this case will now become a 'Friend of the Court'. So, Christine's involvement will diminish to some extent, but I know that she will always be involved because that is just the way that she is.

Will Preparation

Chris Lincoln has prepared legal documents for me on a number of occasions. Most recently she prepared a Will Package that included Last Will and Testament and Power of Attorney documents. Her work is always professional and done on time. I would recommend Chris Lincoln to anyone needing this sort of... counsel.

Very good experience

Ms Lincoln was a great help in guiding me when I needed to draw up a will and advance directives. She was easy to talk with, but still very professional. I would happily refer her to friends and family.

In particular, she was able to navigate around a difficult client and her difficult spouse, finding solutions that maximized the available benefits to the client. Her fees were reasonable; bills arrived promptly and included detailed diary entries. She returned the remainder of the retainer within days of the final decree.
