Best Possible Choice for Me

After consulting with many other lawyers in the North Houston, Spring, and Woodlands area. I came to Chris's profile on Avvo with very little expectation based on my previous experience meeting with other lawyers. As well as, a healthy level of skepticism for online reviews. I was quickly surprised w...ith her no nonsense attitude, approach to my case, knowledge of my rights, and background in very similar cases. As a father seeking sole conservartorship of my son, and dealing with a severe alcoholic with mental issues spouse. I needed someone that could be discrete and help me fight for my son. She met every request with detailed precision, and guided me through this turbulent time. From the very first day we met, and prior to signing our agreement. Chris had informed me of exactly what to expect, and exactly what would be the points of contention. Literally 10 different items came up as a point of contention, and she nailed every one of them exactly on day one. I remember coming into her office or talking to her on the phone saying; "Well... You were right again.." She would respond by saying: "Well... You know.. This is how we are going to handle this.." In those situations she made superb recommendations that led me to my end goal. The well-being of my son, and his best interest. Between Chris and Darby (who works in the office), I stayed up-to-date on every situation, and conversation that occurred. They ensured I was a part of every step and decision that needed to take place. They were very conscious of funds available, and I never felt like I, or my situation, was being taken advantage of throughout the course of things. Please keep in mind that divorce is not cheap, and it doesn't happen over night. Further, it is stressful, and you will be faced with hard decisions. Texas law is very specific in these matters, so be prepared to give fair offers when the time comes around. With all of this in mind, Chris & Darby helped me get through this with a price tag and division of property I was comfortable with, and a timeline that far exceeded my expectations. Most importantly my son, with a phased visitation schedule that allowed me to feel more comfortable with him in her possession. If you are a father that is unsure of your rights, or if you feel like the law is against you. Please take it from me that you will be pleasantly surprised with what you learn from Chris's knowledge and experience in these matters. I personally cannot say enough positive things about my experience at Lincoln law firm. I am very happy I found them.

My attorney of choice

Christine delivers strong and consistent service. She handled two family law matters for me, and I found her compassionate in settings of high emotion, which frequently accompany a family law matter. Christine helped me understand the legal issues, gave good counsel as I made decisions, and was a pa...ssionate advocate for my children. I always felt like she understood me, and didn’t judge me by the circumstances I found myself in. Christine sincerely cares about her clients, and is thorough in her research and preparations for court and mediation. I appreciated how she made me feel at ease, even when things didn’t go my way, because she had already helped me understand the different factors that could influence the outcome. Her office and legal staff are strong, and have the same compassionate approach Christine does as they helped guide me through a very hard time in my life. My two legal cases were 12 years apart - Christine made me feel just as welcome the second time, and settled the confusion and uncertainty in my mind just like she did in my first case. I know there are many choices when it comes to family law attorneys, but I wouldn’t choose another.

Excellent Experience

Divorce is not fun and mine could have been ugly. However, Chris worked with me to get through this in the most amicable way possible with my Ex. I believe that her advice and guidance helped to set the groundwork for a better co-parenting relationship between me and my ex-wife. Chris was very predic...table and transparent. There were never any surprises. She and her team were always very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. I will look to Chris in the future when I need her services and would recommend her to anyone who may be in a situation to need a lawyer.

Highly recommend

Very proactive, very comforting in a difficult time. Had the skills and network to provide the financial, and legal framework for a complicated situation. Put the kids first in our dealings and was a very smooth process. Highly recommend.
