I came to Chris's profile on Avvo with very little expectation based on my previous experience meeting with other lawyers. As well as, a healthy level of skepticism for online reviews. They ensured I was a part of every step and decision that needed to take place. They were very conscious of funds available, and I never felt like I, or my situation, was being taken advantage of throughout the course of things. Please keep in mind that divorce is not cheap, and it doesn't happen over night. Further, it is stressful, and you will be faced with hard decisions. Texas law is very specific in these matters, so be prepared to give fair offers when the time comes around. With all of this in mind, Chris & Darby helped me get through this with a price tag and division of property I was comfortable with, and a timeline that far exceeded my expectations. Most importantly my son, with a phased visitation schedule that allowed me to feel more comfortable with him in her possession. If you are a father that is unsure of your rights, or if you feel like the law is against you. Please take it from me that you will be pleasantly surprised with what you learn from Chris's knowledge and experience in these matters. I personally cannot say enough positive things about my experience at Lincoln law firm. I am very happy I found them.
