Kayla Diane Irvin

Kayla Irvin earned her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law — Houston in May 2019 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in History from Southwestern University where she played four years of collegiate softball. She is a certified mediator and licensed to practice in the State of Texas.

Before joining the Eaton Family Law Group, Kayla was a law clerk and associate for an esteemed criminal defense firm in Houston representing those wrongly convicted or merely taken advantage of by the judicial system. She believes in devoting as much time and attention as is necessary to achieve a client’s best possible outcome and will work tirelessly to develop the best strategy to do so.

Kayla has always felt her purpose in life is to help others through guidance and compassion. Prior to law school, she was a youth pitching instructor focused on helping her young pitchers recognize their potential and understand the why of everything they were asked to do. Her information-forward coaching style is mirrored by her client representation wherein she seeks to provide as much clarity surrounding the law and process as is possible.

When not practicing, Kayla enjoys DIY projects, brewing kombucha, and gardening. As designer and constructor of her own tiny house, she understands the depth and risk of taking on a new challenge and chapter in life and looks forward to helping others do so as well.
