DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Hired this firm for a simple, uncontested step-parent adoption. Despite already having the signed relinquishment, the case dragged on for nearly a year with no progress. I was charged for repeated internal meetings, but nothing was filed on time, and the case was ultimately dismissed due to their ina...ction. I wasn’t even notified—found out from the other party. After reinstatement, the attorney withdrew, saying the case was a "financial hardship" to the firm due to my balance. I had contested the charges, and received no response. I provided everything asked of me in a timely manner and received nothing in return but delay, poor communication, and unnecessary costs. Completely unprofessional experience.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this law firm

From the start, it felt like they were more interested in draining my trust balance than actually resolving my case. Within just two weeks of joining their firm, I was being charged for multiple internal team meetings — meetings that had nothing to do with my direct involvement, and were entirely unn...ecessary for a straightforward divorce case. When I raised concerns about these questionable charges, they were completely dismissive and never offered a proper resolution. It’s unacceptable for a firm to handle billing disputes so carelessly, especially when it involves trust account funds. Their billing practices felt more like a cash grab than professional legal service. I found the whole experience incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I would never recommend this law firm to anyone.

7 Hours Billed for Drafting Without Financial Info — No Draft Received

AI hired The Law Office of Bryan Fagan for a prenuptial agreement. I paid $2,000 upfront and was billed an additional $2,075 within six days — totaling $4,075. Of that, $3,150 was billed for 7 hours of drafting. Here’s the issue: I never submitted the financial disclosures typically required to be...gin drafting (the Financial Information Statement and Inventory & Appraisement Form). One of them was only sent to me a day before the charges for drafting began, and I never submitted either. It’s unclear how a draft could have been meaningfully worked on. I described my goals verbally in consultation (keeping future business assets and my 401k separate, handling debt/alimony fairly, etc.), but there was no asset info to build a proper prenup on. Despite paying the full balance and even offering to pay $225 more just to receive the draft, no draft was ever delivered. Additional charges included: $112.50 to upload a mostly irrelevant intake form $50 for a consultation scheduling a call that I was supposed to receive but had to initiate $100 for a 187-word welcome email with two blank forms (only one submitted) I terminated the agreement upon receiving the invoice and paid in full. Still, no draft. I’ve posted on public platforms and emailed the managing partner — no reply. I hope this helps others make a more informed decision.

STAY FAR AWAY--Lies & No Communication, but they will charge WAY more than they quote you to do nothing

Horrible service. I started off with a lawyer who said we could get everything I was asking for in the divorce. Communication was great and very thorough. Without notice, they switched me to a different lawyer. The new lawyer missed our consultation call and I had to follow up four times to get the i...nitial meeting. She said she'd update me once she heard back from the opposing council. It's now been a MONTH and I haven't gotten a single update, in spite of many attempts to get one. I got a call back from the paralegal who charged me just to ask what I was wanting an update on (I had already given that information to the receptionist). I still haven't received an update. I called SEVEN times this morning trying to get an answer. I was transferred to another client, then to a power company. After an hour and 20 minutes of calling and getting transferred to the wrong people, the receptionist said she'll have someone call me back about canceling/getting a refund. She said if someone doesn't call me back by this afternoon, give them a call back. This has been an awful experience. I was told they'd get me everything I was asking for. Once I got the new lawyer I never ask for, I was told they can try to get everything I was asking for but it's highly unlikely. I'm dealing with a domestic violence case on top of this divorce, and the last thing I need is to be charged egregious amounts of money for nothing to be done. They originally told me this process should be done by May, now the timeline keeps getting pushed back. I'm flabbergasted by how they seem to lie to all of their clients and take advantage of people in bad situations. I would not recommend this law firm to ANYONE under any circumstances. This is the worst customer service experience I've ever faced.

Worse law firm ever

I dont really know where these positive reviews are coming from. Please check Yielp.com. My experience with this law firm has been the worse in my 65 years of existence. They quoted me $5000 and four months for a probate case. After 5 months, the bill was over $12K and no ending in sight. Only few do...cuments were sent to the court which doesn't mount to that! The communication is poor, and they charge you for everything. Documents were filled wrong and after they corrected them, they charged me. They had internal meetings about the case (don't know why) and they charged me for it. Got to the point that I had to terminate the contract. Even after that, they kept charging me for their internal discussions about me cancelling. They sent me an email confirming the cancellation and they charged me!! They sent emails to wrong people and they charged me. The court didn't publish my brother's death because Bryan Fagan never answered the courts phone and never paid for the publication so I am basically starting from square one. No one would answer the phone and their billing department is a joke. The lawyer answer one email to my new lawyer which only took less than 15 minutes and she charged me for 1.5 hours. UNBELIEVABLE!! People, do yourselves a favor, RUN AWAY FROM THIS FIRM!
