Mr. Sykes helped my fiance and I divert a custody train wreck. My fiance's antagonistic ex-wife had denied visitation, disappeared with their daughters, re-arranged the cars on her driveway when she left to force him to park on a dangerous street, and demanded he call the cops (in spite of a pandemic...). My fiance went months without seeing his daughters during their divorce, and she has attempted to deny visitation in years past, but we've always been able to get a civil standby to convince her otherwise... but not this time. We were preparing to file a Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus and Emergency Motion for Return of Child[ren], which would have opened a very contentious and expensive can of worms, when Mr. Sykes gave us very specific and strategic advice to put the lid back on an explosive situation.
