Biography
The greatest form of advocacy is giving someone a voice…and that is what I believe I have been called to do. After studying the voices of great writers as an English major at the University of Georgia, I began crafting one facet of my personal form of advocacy. I taught writing—encouraging my students to recognize their own voices and providing them with the guidance needed to use their voices effectively. But that was not enough for me. So I went to law school knowing that I needed to cultivate my ability to use my voice in order to better serve others. While in school, I refined my ability to conduct legal research and write. Now I am now looking for other advocates. I want to work with lawyers engaged in advocacy on every level—on paper and in court. I want to collaborate with people who are not afraid to go to trial and fight for their clients’ rights.
