John T. Polasek

John T. Polasek (Ted) has over 35 years of experience in intellectual property law. Ted’s practice includes registering and protecting trademarks, licensing IP rights, rendering opinions, patent and trademark litigation, and client counseling on various aspects of intellectual property.

Ted has successfully litigated patent lawsuits representing patent owners and companies accused of infringement in various industries, including the oil field tools, cured in place pipe technology, the earth moving sector, automotive parts, smart phones, smart watches, laptops, tablets, medical equipment, mechanical devices and tools, software and software apps.

He has also handled trademark infringement and counterfeiting litigations and other proceedings between competing businesses over their use of trademarks, including disputes involving listings on Amazon.

Ted has also litigated patent infringement cases on a contingent fee, hybrid and hourly basis across the United States, including New York, Delaware, the Eastern District of Virginia, the Middle District of Florida, Oregon, Nebraska, Illinois, Arizona, California, and the Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas. In the early part of his career, Ted was associated with one of the premier intellectual property firms in the country, Arnold White & Durkee.
