Kristen Quan Hammill

Kristen Quan Hammill has exclusively practiced Immigration and Nationality Law for almost 15 years. She began her career working at one of the largest immigration firms in the country where she gained extensive experience in a wide variety of immigration matter

Specifically, Ms. Hammill has successfully handled cases involving all U.S. nonimmigrant visa categories and employment-based immigrant visas (including labor certification processes). She has represented both high volume caseloads for large corporate clients (including Fortune 500 companies) and individuals needing assistance with navigating the arcane requirements of U.S. immigration law.

Ms. Hammill also handles family-based immigration cases, citizenship and naturalization matters and specialized case matters ranging from nuanced employment matters relating to the Outer Continental Shelf, religious workers, outstanding researchers and professors to complex issues tied to benefits under the Child Status Protection Act and the Violence Against Women Act.

Ms. Hammill is a graduate of Tulane University Law School. While at Tulane, she served as the Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religious Studies. During her time at the University of Virginia, Ms. Hammill served as the Director of Madison House’s Migrant Aid program, coordinating volunteer support services for migrant families throughout the greater Charlottesville, Virginia area.

Ms. Hammill is admitted to practice before the State Bar of Texas and the United States Supreme Court. Ms. Hammill is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) both nationally and within the Texas chapter.

Ms. Hammill was included on the Texas Rising Stars List by Texas Super Lawyers in 2017. She has also been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© from 2017 to the present in Immigration Law.
