It was four years ago, when I accompanied my parents into the office of Acosta Law. I remembered how helpless I felt holding the door for my dad who needed a cane to get around and my mom clutching a purse that enclosed everything but money. Unfortunately, my dad passed away from Covid in August of 2021 leaving my mom to navigate the remainder of their bankruptcy case alone. But here's the point of this story.
